Wild About Wood Zone

Wood, wood nothing but wood. Our forest may be down to 1% of what they once were but the Wild About Wood Zone at Big Tent is going to celebrate the alive and kicking forest and wood culture of Scotland.

Craft at Big Tent

Last year we had the launch of Scotland’s Wild Harvests Association, talks from the likes of the Lazy Environmentalist Polly Higgins, music from the Orchard Stage with the Woodland Orchestra as well as traditional music and ballands from Fife and the North East, poetry, music and demonstrations and displays of some of the best craftsmen and women in Scotland in the Wood n' Craft Tent. With basketmakers, woodcutters, wood turners, willow weavers, furniture makers and more, this is a fantastic place to be inspired. Programme developing! We'll keep you posted.

And this year we are developing a new Craft Zone - more news to follow.
